− Kulturvermittlung, Repräsentation und Fördernetzwerke in der frühneuzeitlichen Habsburger Monarchie
Within the framework of the tripartite Hungarian-Austrian-Slovak cooperation, the conference was organized with the participation of historians, literary historians, and art historians. We thematized the new results regarding the field of early modern female patronage, which has been little reflected in Central Eastern European research until now. Organized into five major sessions at the conference with specific regard to the Habsburg Empire (1. Patronage of literature and art as a social and cultural phenomenon, 2. Supporters of the church, 3. Forms of court representation, 4. Patronage and collecting culture, 5. Early modern female support networks) the talks were highlighting roles undertaken by women of different social status, religion and geographical environment in patronage in the fields of literature, arts, culture, the church and social care, as well as the various forms of cultural representation.
