It was organized around a subject area that had only been marginally dealt with in cultural, social and communication studies until quite recently. The focus of the two-day conference, organized with the participation of Hungarian, Austrian and Slovak historians and literary historians, was the investigation women\u2018s relationship-building and communication strategies, action spaces and media in relation to different social backgrounds.
